After graduation, I attended, K-State, Manhattan and Pittsburg.
In 1968, I moved to Kansas City, Missouri and went to work at Ford Motor Company.

A fellow co-worker introduced me to Brenda in l969. We dated for 6 months before we were married.

I married Brenda Hedges on December 26, 1970. We lived in Independence, Missouri for 14 years. In 1984 we moved to Kearney, Mo where we still live. We have 6 acres in the country. Our four-bedroom house has more room than we need. Both of our children are now on their own.

She, also, completed a Marketing /Management Degree from Park University in Parkville, Missouri. She is currently working at SAF Bioscience as an analytical chemist. She and her four legged friend, Kindle, live near KCI airport in Kansas City, MO.

Our son, Chris, was born on June 14,1976. Chris graduated from MU with both a Chemistry and Biology degree. He just completed his first year in Pharmacy School. Chris and Cristina were married on November 26, 2011. They live near the Farmer's Market in Kansas City, MO. They reside in a two bedroom apartment with their two French Mastifs, Bacchus and Bea.

Brenda retired in 2003 after 34 years of teaching fourth grade for the Independence School District. She spends time with family and friends.

I am currently an elder for our church, Trinity Lutheran in Kearney, MO. Also, I am one of the early members of the ACELC.
